We’re seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer II to join an innovative team focused on delivering large-scale, distributed computing solutions in a fast-paced, high-impact environment. This role is ideal for experienced developers passionate about designing world-class systems and solving complex technical challenges that drive performance, scalability, and customer experience.
As an SDE-II, you will lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of advanced distributed systems. You’ll shape long-term architecture, drive critical technical decisions, and deliver high-quality solutions in an agile, startup-like setting.
Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable software solutions that enhance durability, performance, cost-efficiency, and security.
Write clean, high-quality code for distributed systems and backend infrastructure.
Apply software engineering best practices, including code reviews, testing automation, and continuous integration.
Take ownership of key projects, from architecture through execution and delivery.
Collaborate with engineering teams to define roadmaps and provide technical leadership.
Requirements
5+ years of professional software development experience (excluding internships).
4+ years of experience in system design/architecture focused on scalability, reliability, and performance.
Strong coding skills in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Java, C++, C#) with object-oriented design.
Proven experience building and maintaining production-grade systems.
4+ years managing the full software development lifecycle: version control, testing, code reviews, CI/CD, and deployment.
Experience with additional programming languages and tools such as Python, TypeScript, JavaScript, and .NET.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
Strong problem-solving ability and a proactive approach in agile environments.
