The Role

We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer passionate about developing robust game software using C++ language and adhering to the defined specifications/timelines. The candidate will contribute to the high-quality and timely delivery of games and provide solutions to complex technical problems.

What you’ll do

  • Development of gaming software using C++, ensuring that good quality software is delivered on time with quality

  • Identify and raise risks promptly and take necessary action to mitigate the same

  • Implemented and tested various new features in our game development framework for different jurisdictions.

  • Prepare time estimates of all design options and other project requirements

  • Assist in troubleshooting and debugging code to find the root cause of the issues and provide detailed information to the development team.

  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to effectively interact with global stakeholders

  • Development of various toolsets using C++, Python, C#, and Java to help with building games more efficiently.

What We're Looking For

  • BS Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.

  • 3+ years of software development experience.

  • Expert level C++ programming skills.

  • Linux and Windows development & debugging experience.

  • Strong experience in SDLC / Agile Methodologies (SCRUM & KANBAN).

  • Experience with SVN / GitHub / Perforce or other configuration management system.

  • Programming experience in the gaming industry would be advantageous.

  • Willing to relocate to Sydney, Australia.
