As a Software Development Engineer, you will:
- As a staff member of the Software Development Department, responsible for software development to manage router and LAN switch products.
- Work with internal teams to investigate current and future architectures, requirements, and technology needs.
- Responsible for one or more functions/modules of software to be embedded into the product, and develops them from basic design to detailed design, coding, testing, and bug fixing.
- Work cross-functionally with software development, hardware development, and quality assurance to provide high-quality products.
- Proactively participate in technical and complex problem solving.
- Research new technologies and tools in the industry and devise new features and solutions.
We Are Looking For:

- 1+ years of software development experience in the IT/software industry
- Experience with the following. (do not need to match all of them)
- Experience in development and system construction utilizing UNIX-based OS (Linux, BSD)
- Experience developing applications in JavaScript, Python, or other languages.
- Experience developing applications using WEB framework (Angular, Django)
- Knowledge and experience with Layer 2 network protocols
- Knowledge and experience with Layer 3 network protocols
- Knowledge and experience with security features of network switch
- Experience developing user interface and business logic applications.
- Familiarity with technologies such as REST API, NETCONF, SNMP, Telemetry, Ansible, etc. - Emphasis on teamwork
- Inquisitiveness for new technology
- Want to develop high quality products.
- Native level Japanese
- Ability to read and understand English documents, ability to communicate in English via email
- Ability to speak English is a plus
