The Role
We are seeking a talented and passionate Software Engineer to join our dynamic team at Nokia Space Networks. As part of the NTN project, you will have the opportunity to work on innovative solutions for direct-to-mobile satellite communication. Our team offers an end-to-end perspective, lightweight processes, and direct customer interaction, making this role both challenging and rewarding. Responsibilities
  • Prototype and develop LTE and 5G network solutions.
  • Implement cross-component development tests to ensure product quality.
  • Analyze and solve complex engineering problems in radio technologies.
  • Participate in creating and reviewing functional, design, and interface specifications.
  • Collaborate with Technical Leaders to align with project goals.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in C++ and Linux.
  • Utilize testing frameworks, JIRA, and version control systems for efficient development.
  • Ensure code quality and maintainability through code reviews.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to junior team members.
  • Actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in C++11/14/17/20 is a must.
  • Experience with GCC, Clang, and Linux is essential.
  • Familiarity with testing frameworks and Continuous Integration systems.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively.
  • A passion for high-end telecommunication technologies.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage.
