The Opportunity:

USEUCOM is standing up a modeling, simulation, and analytics program to produce and integrate operational modeling, simulation, and data analytics in support of Joint, Combined, and Coalition operations, planning, and decision making. This new program will leverage digital technologies and analytic methodologies to inform planning, exercises, experiments, and wargames through models, simulations, and analytics of current and alternative operational environments. You will learn probable adversary actions and reactions and understand the possible impacts to U.S., Alliance, and partner forces’ ability to operate in the USEUCOM AOR.

As a Software Developer at Booz Allen, you’ll use the latest architectural approaches and frameworks and tools to deliver solutions. You’ll help our team and our client produce mission-relevant software applications to enable advanced simulations and integrate various software systems within a bespoke cloud environment. You’ll work with a team of modeling and simulation engineers and data scientists to create custom tools and applications with consistent performance and scalability. You Have:

• 5+ years of experience with software development, including using C, C++, or Python

• Experience building software plugins

• Experience with version control systems, such as Git

• Experience deploying in a cloud environment, including AWS

• Experience with containerized applications, including Docker and Kubernetes

• Experience with CI/CD principles, methodologies, and tools, including Jenkins

• Experience developing with SQL and NoSQL databases

• Experience with Agile development and tools, including JIRA

• TS/SCI clearance

• Bachelor’s degree

Nice If You Have:

• Experience supporting the IC and DoD

• Experience supporting modeling and simulation efforts, including AFSIM

• Experience integrating software with Large Language Models (LLMs) or other generative AI capabilities

• Experience with retrieval-augmented generation (RAGs)

• Security+ Certification

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
