About the Role:

At CuraPatient, we’re building the future of healthcare with AI-powered payment integrity and claims automation. We’re looking for developers who know how to code smart, use AI as leverage, and communicate clearly. This isn’t just another dev job—you’ll be working at the intersection of AI, CLI productivity, and data models, helping us transform how billions of dollars in healthcare claims are processed. What You’ll Do:

• Build APIs with Java + Spring Boot and front-end features with Angular + TypeScript

• Write and optimize PostgreSQL queries, with a strong grasp of relational data models

• Use AI tools + context engineering to accelerate coding, debugging, and testing (while keeping outputs grounded in common sense)

• Automate workflows using CLI and scripting—fewer clicks, more productivity

• Secure endpoints (OAuth2, RBAC) and practice TDD to ship reliable, maintainable code

• Collaborate with teammates, explain your thinking clearly, and grow your technical depth every day

What You Bring:

• 2+ years Java/Spring Boot experience

• Angular & SQL skills (PostgreSQL preferred); Android a plus

• Comfort with CLI tools and developer workflows (Git, scripts, automation)

• Curiosity to learn new AI tools, plus the judgment to validate AI output against real data

• Strong communicator, problem solver, and team player

We’re headquartered in Irvine, California, and at this time, we are focusing on local resources who will report to this onsite role, as required. Orange County (CA) residents are strongly preferred. Sorry, no relocation assistance and no C2C.

Located at The Irvine Spectrum all employees can use Irvine Company facilities, which include: bike rentals, onsite dining, car wash & detailing services, dry cleaning service and Envoy on-demand electric vehicles.

Salary Range Transparency: $67,000 - $100,000 - you know your worth and we want to hear you out. We’re open to a salary that best reflects your experience, skills, knowledge and talents that will meet our qualifications and current company needs.
