We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software Developer to join our Risk Team in Hong Kong. This is a dynamic opportunity to work alongside a talented team of developers located across London, Paris, and Hong Kong. You will play a pivotal role in industrializing and scaling risk models while collaborating closely with internal and external stakeholders.
Your future role within QRT
- Design, develop, and maintain software solutions using advanced Python, including API development
- Leverage cloud technologies (AWS) to deploy, manage, and scale applications efficiently
- Build and enhance user interfaces using tools like Plotly Dash and AG-Grid
- Work with Rest APIs, SQL Server, Docker, and Kubernetes to create robust, scalable, and reliable systems
- Collaborate closely with Risk Managers to industrialize and scale risk models, with an opportunity to interpret and update these models directly
- Tackle multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
Your present skillset
- 3-8 years of software development experience
- Advanced proficiency in Python with strong object-oriented programming skills
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred)
- Familiarity with Rest APIs, Docker, Kubernetes, and SQL Server
- UI development experience with frameworks such as Plotly Dash and AG-Grid
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive and efficient approach
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively
- Knowledge of quantitative models or prior experience working with risk modeling (good-to-have)
- Familiarity with financial risk management concepts (good-to-have)
