Boeing has a current need for an Associate or Mid-Level Programmer Analyst for their Everett, WA location (Will consider Seattle location as well)
- Must be a US Person (Green card holder or US Citizen) to apply.
- Hybrid Role - Must be willing to go into office at least twice a week.
- Must live in the Seattle area or be willing to relocate at your own expense.
Position Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and test full stack applications throughout the end-to-end lifecycle that meets industry, customer, safety, and regulation standards.
- Perform review, analysis, and translation of customer requirements into initial design of software products.
- Perform development, maintenance, enhancement and optimization of software products and functionalities for systems integrations.
- Debugs and leads resolution of issues identified to ensure the reliability and efficiency of software products.
- Perform development, establishment, monitoring and improvement of software processes, tools and key performance metrics that align projects with organizational goals and industry benchmarks.
- Consults on software domains, system-specific issues, processes and regulations.
- Assists in leading software project management activities and software supplier management functions.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):
- 2+ years' experience in foundational Computer Science knowledge and object-oriented design and software patterns
- 2+ years' experience in languages like C#, Python, Javascript, VB Script or other similar languages, async programming OOP, NET Framework / .NET Core on full stack software projects/programs
- Experience in web application development (Classic ASP or MVC or similar, RESTful API design)
- Experience with Agile or SAFe practices, including daily standup, User Stories, Sprints, and Release Planning
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
- 5+ years' experience in foundational Computer Science knowledge and object-oriented design and software patterns
- 5+ years' experience in languages like C#, Python, Javascript, VB Script or other similar languages, async programming OOP, NET Framework / .NET Core on full stack software projects/programs
- Experience with one or more of the following: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JS frameworks (Angular / React / Vue) REST/Open API
- Experience using Version Control (e.g. Git)
- Experience using databases (Eg: SQL/Oracle)
- Experience developing and maintaining SOAP, RMI, REST APIs and interfaces
- Experience with AI Development assistance (CoPilot, Amazon Q or similar)
- Experience using cloud-based infrastructure (e.g. AZURE)
- Experience with DevSecOps and continuous integration (CI/CD)
- Experience in debugging high available production applications and managing support environment.
