Software Developer (Mobile & Backend)

The Role:

Working closely with our expert engineering teams, we’re developing an integrated platform using the latest Advanced Analytics and Machine Learning technologies to allow customers to manage large fleets of wind turbines.

We’re looking for an experienced Software Developer with strong experience in programming, analytical & problem-solving skills, as well as an understanding of the methodologies that drive scalable, Agile software development and software testing. This role will be a mixture of mobile app development and web application development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Participating in all phases of software development - including design, implementation, testing, code review and documentation
• Actively seek ways to improve business software processes and interactions
• Collaboration with product owners, designers and other developers to build a best-in-class experience for our customers
• Develop, maintain, monitor, and support our core platform, helping to automate and streamline data processes
• Write robust, scalable code
• Participate in quality assurance and code quality management
• Help coach and mentor more junior members of the team

Required Experience:

• 3+ years of commercial Software Development Experience
• Strong experience with C# .Net
• 1+ year of commercial mobile application development using Flutter
• Solid understanding of Software Development Best Practices such as CI/CD, clean architecture etc.

Desired Experience:

• Experience developing with Cloud Services, preferably in AWS
• Frontend development, preferably using React.
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL and Database Design Principles
• Exposure to JavaScript frameworks, preferably React
• Experience in designing and maintaining ETL processes
• Experience with infrastructure as code would be advantageous, ideally Terraform
