The Technology & Engineering team is the core technical engine that builds the future. We are the guardian and architect of our entire digital ecosystem, from software development to resilient infrastructure and cutting-edge security. The Software Developer Level 3 translates product and business needs into reliable, scalable software, delivering measurable customer and operational impact while upholding engineering standards.
What You Will Do:
Understand the high-level product roadmap for the squad and immediate features to be developed, contributing to high-level estimation and lay-out of the development sequences
Complete complex development tasks with minimal guidance.Constantly and actively contribute to pushing code to production to become a main contributor.
Start to review Pull Requests for simple development.
Write testable, efficient, and reusable code suitable for continuous integration and deployment, that respects best practices and SSENSE development standards.
Adhere to SSENSE AI development standards and bring AI into day-to-day activities.Be accountable for code quality with the assistance of a QA Analyst to conduct adequate testing.
Join SSENSE University sessions to ramp up on various technologies and host at least two sessions per year.
Contribute actively to the design of the solution, challenging other members on technical decisions.
Lead the AI adoption at SSENSE.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
A minimum of 3 years of Object Oriented Programming (OOP) experience.
Knowledge of the microservice concepts and ability to define the architecture for a microservice with minimal guidance to develop a complex microservice.
Ability to identify caching opportunities and implement them with guidance.
Familiar with various database systems and able to write complex queries independently.
French is required as it is the language in the Quebec province.
