We are looking for a detail-oriented and technically proficient Software Deployment Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing software deployments across various environments. You’ll work closely with development, QA, and customer-facing teams to ensure the smooth and reliable delivery of software releases with minimal disruption.

The Main Course – Responsibilities 

• Plan, coordinate, and execute software deployments across development, testing, staging, and production environments.
• Develop and maintain deployment scripts, tools, and pipelines to automate and optimize the release process.
• Troubleshoot and resolve deployment issues in a timely manner in collaboration with engineering and support teams.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for deployment processes, configurations, and recovery procedures.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure deployment strategies align with software architecture and infrastructure needs.
• Ensure rollback and recovery mechanisms are in place for all releases.
• Enforce version control, release standards, and change management policies.
• Stay up to date on emerging tools, technologies, and best practices related to software delivery and automation.
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends as needed.

What You Bring to the Table – Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• 3+ years of experience in software release management, deployment engineering, or a related role.
• Solid understanding of the software development life cycle, Agile methodologies, and DevOps practices.
• Strong experience with Jira, including the ability to modify workflows and optimize processes.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, comfortable performing repetitive tasks
• Familiarity with Ziosk’s product line is a plus.
