Software Configuration Management Specialist/Software Tester

Amentum is seeking a Software Configuration Management Specialist/Software Tester to support DOD Operations. This engineer will be developing software on an Agile Software Development team of 7 or less developers to create software for a current Naval program. 

 
Essential Responsibilities:

• Developing documentation and/or testing software system specifications and requirements documentation, develop support system software capabilities, features, or enhancements.
• Planning, performing, and guiding detailed software design, coding, and testing.
• Working with customers and engineers in an adaptive Agile environment, building and maintaining the latest development tools, helping expand our Modeling and Simulation capability.
• Primary work location will be in Fredericksburg, VA or Dahlgren, VA with occasional telecommute or travel opportunities. Not required, but seeking a few personnel interested in 20% travel.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or 3 years' work experience in one of the following disciplines: Engineering, Math, Computers Science, and/or Physics with entry level experience.
• Must have an Active SECRET US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a SECRET Clearance.
• Agile experience a plus.
• Salary Range: $70,905-$90,204

Clearance: Must be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET US Government Clearance. Can start with an interim.
