We are looking for an experienced L1 Software Architect to join our team and contribute to the evolution of next‑generation radio technologies. In this role, you will work on physical layer uplink and downlink features for advanced 5G and future 6G networks. You will define, analyze, and architect complex Layer 1 solutions across multiple technology domains, supporting both product development and technical investigations.
Responsibilities- Partitioning and dimensioning of 5G/6G physical layer processing, including collecting requirements, use cases, defining interfaces, analyzing options for hardware/software split.
- Creating L1 SW architecture for Baseband and massive MIMO processing.
- Perform technical analysis and grooming of L1 related features.
- Leading and contributing to L1 technical fault investigations for internal and external customers. Acting as task force leader on need basis.
- Active reviewer and analysis for 3GPP updates.
- 10+ years of background on development of wireless/telecom systems.
- Strong background in SW architecture and architecture modeling related to BTS/SoC/GPU/SW, and signal processing systems development.
- Strong background in communications theory and signal processing.
- Rich knowledge of LTE/5G physical layer, knowing Resource Management design and implementation principles is a plus.
- Rich experiences on programming in C/C++/Matlab (Cuda is a plus) and modeling wireless communications systems.
- Good understanding of low-level SW design flow and process in the context of SoC (ASIC/FPGA/DSP) and/or GPU/CPU
- Proactive and independent problem solving through own experience and network.
- Fluent verbal communication and writing skills in English language.
- Master or above, major in signal processing, telecommunication, electronic engineering, computer science, or related.
