We are looking for a seasoned Software Architect with 12+ years of experience in architecting and evolving cloud-native software platforms. As a key technical leader in the hands-on role, you will drive the architecture and technology strategy for our observability solutions, ensuring scalability, reliability, performance, and operational excellence. You will provide architectural guidance across product teams, champion engineering best practices, and foster innovation through the adoption of modern technologies, automation, AI-driven capabilities, and cloud-native principles. This role requires a strategic mindset, strong technical depth, and the ability to influence stakeholders across engineering, product, and customer organizations.
Responsibilities- Define and drive the architecture and technology strategy for cloud-native observability platform component, ensuring scalability, reliability, performance, security, and operational excellence.
- Lead the end-to-end architectural design and evolution of software solutions, providing technical direction from concept through implementation, deployment, and lifecycle management.
- Drive the resolution of complex customer-reported issues and critical production incidents, lead root cause analysis (RCA), and establish long-term architectural improvements to enhance system resilience, maintainability, and customer experience.
- Champion engineering best practices, cloud-native architectures, DevSecOps, automation, CI/CD, and Kubernetes-based platforms to improve product quality, operational efficiency, and developer productivity.
- Evaluate and adopt emerging technologies, including AI-assisted engineering, agentic automation frameworks, and observability innovations, to accelerate delivery and create strategic business value.
- Provide architectural leadership and mentorship across engineering teams while collaborating with product, engineering, operations, and customer-facing stakeholders to align technology decisions with business and customer objectives.
You have:
- Engineering / Mastrer's Degree with 12+ years of Deep expertise in Cloud-Native Architectures, including Kubernetes (CRDs, Operators, Controllers), OpenShift, Microservices, Distributed Systems, and Platform Engineering.
- Hands-on experience in Golang and building highly scalable, resilient, and performance-critical backend systems.
- Proven experience designing large-scale data ingestion, ETL, event-driven, and streaming architectures using technologies such as Kafka, ClickHouse, VictoriaMetrics, and MariaDB.
- Very good knowledge of Observability, Telemetry, Monitoring, and Analytics platforms, including OpenTelemetry, OTLP, OpAMP, PromQL/VMQL, and large-scale metrics processing.
- Experience defining architecture for high availability, scalability, fault tolerance, automation, RCA, anomaly detection, and predictive analytics solutions.
- Deep understanding of DevSecOps, CI/CD, Automation, Helm, Jenkins, and Kubernetes-based deployment and operations models.
- Proven technical leadership in driving architecture strategy, technology adoption, customer issue resolution, and mentoring engineering teams, including adoption of AI-assisted engineering and Agentic AI frameworks.
Good to have:
- Knowledge of Telecom Networks, SNMP, 3GPP standards, and Network Function Management with the ability to model and correlate operational, fault, performance, and configuration data.
