Job Description
Join a leading engineering services organization dedicated to developing next-generation infotainment solutions for automotive partners worldwide. Our mission is to bring innovative in-vehicle infotainment (IVI) systems to life, enhancing the driving experience with advanced technology and intuitive design.
We are seeking an experienced Software Architect to play a crucial role in the design and development of advanced infotainment products. You will work with a dynamic team of engineers to define, plan, and document software architecture that meets automotive quality standards. As a key player in our organization, you will lead architectural planning and design activities, ensuring the technical robustness and scalability of our solutions.
This role will focus on developing infotainment systems based on Android for the automotive industry, requiring a deep understanding of scalable and modular architecture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the software architecture planning, design, and implementation processes for in-vehicle infotainment systems.
- Analyze project requirements to define software architecture that aligns with customer and industry standards.
- Design and document the high-level software architecture for automotive infotainment systems, specifically based on Android platforms.
- Allocate functionality to software components and define clear, maintainable interfaces between them.
- Ensure requirements traceability throughout the architecture to maintain alignment with customer expectations.
- Collaborate directly with customers and suppliers to address technical needs and ensure successful integration.
- Optimize system performance and support development teams in resolving complex technical challenges.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in developing highly scalable, multi-threaded software, ideally within embedded systems environments.
- Proven experience in a software architecture role, with a track record of defining and documenting architecture for complex systems.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to direct technical teams and effectively document technical issues.
- Proficiency with formal UML architectural design tools (e.g., Enterprise Architect).
- Strong analytical skills to identify and manage engineering tradeoffs effectively.
- Familiarity with requirements analysis and traceability tools.
- Experience with system profiling and static analysis tools to ensure optimal performance and code quality.
Work Environment: This position allows for hybrid work mode from our Kraków office; 3 days a week in the office.
