The New Product Introduction Systems (NPI Systems) team within Intel Foundry Automation (IFA) is seeking a talented Software Applications Development Engineer to develop comprehensive full-stack software solutions that drive our manufacturing excellence.
What You'll Do
- Develop automation applications for new product introduction workflows, execution readiness, build logistics, and Design of Experiments (DOE) planning
- Responsibilities include complete software project lifecycle spanning requirements analysis, design, development, testing and support for automation applications
- Collaborate with Assembly Test Technology Development (ATTD) and Logic Technology Development (LTD) teams across TD and High-Volume manufacturing facilities
- Analyze stakeholder requirements to identify key challenges and design optimal application/system solutions
- Build robust, high-performance applications that meet current and forecasted business needs
- Develop and execute comprehensive automated testing suites to ensure functionality, reliability, and performance
- Provide expert-level technical support to TD factories and process engineers

Minimum Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship required
- Ability to obtain and maintain US Government TS Security Clearance and SCI access.
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or in a STEM related field
- 2+ years of object-oriented software design and development experience
- Experience with Microsoft technologies (C#, .NET Framework) and Angular/ TypeScript
- Experienced in Agile and Scrum Processes
- Experience with database development in PL/SQL (Oracle) and/or TSQL (Microsoft SQL Server)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with writing WPF (Window Presentation Foundation) and WCF (Windows Communication Foundation) Services
- Experience with Designing multi-tiered and integrated software systems
- Software project management experience covering overall software development life cycle and familiarity with Agile/SCRUM practices
- Experience working with existing software stack and applying new requirements efficiently to meet scalability needs

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US: $100,550.00-194,270.00 USD
