Lumentum is looking for Software Algorithm Specialist to play a leading role in the development of a solution for a new generation of disruptive optical metrology products and participate in creating a lean and agile development culture.

Key responsibilities:

· Work with multidisciplinary teams to define new product requirements.

· Document and review requirements and designs with peers and stake holders.

· Implementing algorithms for 3D image processing.

Education:

· MSc or PhD in a relevant discipline.

Qualifications:

· Experience implementing advanced algorithms.

· Fluent in C++, Rust and Python.

· Experience with Optical Metrology sensors and systems using laser scanners, structured light or LiDAR.

· Experience with 3D image processing including Biomedical imaging.

Assets:

· Knowledge of image processing using GPUs.
