A combined administrative role working within the Corporate Affairs Department.
The role is split as follows:
- 55% working on the Colleague Community Impact Programme for the Social Value team.
- 35% working on our Good Causes case studies project for the Distributor Relationships team.
- 10% support prompt financial management, booking travel and hotels for the Corporate Affairs Department.
Role Purpose:
- Provide input into and support on Allwyn’s Social Value Strategy and Framework.
- Lead on the management and processing of National Lottery funded project case study information for future marketing use.
Role and Responsibilities:
Colleague Community Impact Programme (55%)
- Be the day-to-day lead on the programme – which includes colleague Volunteering, Match Funding, Give As You Earn and Matched Giving.
- Continue to develop and maintain effective partnerships with external organisations and charitable partners.
- Maintain the programmes databases, data collection process, review of all applications.
- Conduct analysis of data, to feed into all business reporting.
- Work with the Internal Communications team to create content that promotes the programme, relevant activities, celebrate awareness days, and support uplift in participation.
- Work closely with the health, safety, and environment lead to ensure all necessary health and safety requirements are met.
- Deal with day-to-day correspondence via the Social Value team inbox.
- To be an ambassador for Allwyn’s Social Value Strategy across stakeholders and communicate confidently on our achievements to internal and external audiences.
- Supporting the Social Value team on any ad hoc tasks, as agreed with the Social Value Manager.
Good Causes Case Study Content (35%)
- Lead on the management of Good Causes case studies.
- Liaise with National Lottery Promotions Unit and Distributors to source and complete the Allwyn allocation of case studies.
- Work with Allwyn Creative Hub to ensure all newly created stories are stored in the case study database for future use.
- Design and implement a renewal cycle ensuring case studies are up to date with consent reviewed at regular points.
- Work with beneficiaries and project leads featured in the case studies to ensure the management of consent and content.
- Provide monthly reporting of the number of case studies completed and utilised.
- Develop excellent knowledge of National Lottery funding and data reporting using existing funding database, case study database and Distributor information.
- Support Good Causes Lead on BAU requests from across the business.
General Admin (10%)
- Supporting efficient and prompt financial management, including setting up new suppliers, goods receipting, handling any invoice queries and investigating discrepancies.
- Sourcing and booking all travel and hotel arrangements, following our Travel and Expenses Policy.

Requirements
- Interest in and fair knowledge of broad social value issues, context, and good practice.
- An interest in National Lottery funding and the impact on Good Causes.
- Experienced at constructing clear reports, data analysis and database management.
- Involvement in meetings with key internal and external stakeholders.
- Good interpersonal skills, the ability to build and manage relationships.
- Ability to work on own initiative.
- Excellent organisational and project management skills.
- Ability to learn to use G-Suite and Microsoft packages including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Able to build and nurture strong relationships, with both internal and external stakeholders, as well as participants.
