The Role
This is a key strategic role for a highly data and insights-driven professional focused on architecting and executing outstanding social media strategies. You are the "all-rounder" social expert, responsible for the entire social strategy lifecycle, from initial audits and insight generation to proposal development, campaign execution, and client management.
The core of this position is to be a hands-on leader for all things social, demonstrating deep platform expertise and a proven ability to "run the show." You will be the driving force that translates client business goals into compelling, insight-led social narratives that deliver tangible results.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Development & Pitching: Lead the social component of new business pitches. Craft, build, and present persuasive proposals and strategic recommendations that are informed by robust data and audits.
- Data, Audits & Insights: Conduct a
social media brand and competitor audits (for both brand or/and creator content) to uncover actionable insights. Utilize social analytics tools to measure performance, track KPIs, and translate complex data into strategic recommendations.
- Holistic Ecosystem Strategy: Architect and execute a full suite of social media strategies, including Always-on Social Strategy, Social Campaign Strategy, Social Creator Engagement Strategy, and Platform-Specific strategies (e.g., FB Group Community Growth & Engagement Strategy or a dedicated TikTok Strategy).
- Client Management & Advisement: Act as a trusted senior advisor by building and maintaining strong relationships, "sell" in new ideas, and manage expectations to ensure satisfaction and identify opportunities for growth.
- Social Platform Expertise: Serve as the in-house expert on all major social platforms (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, etc.), staying ahead of trends, algorithm changes, and new technologies to keep clients innovative.
- Social Stewardship & Execution: Drive and oversee the end-to-end execution of social campaigns, ensuring all content, community management, and paid amplification aligns with the strategy, brand guidelines, and quality standards.
- Omni-channel Collaboration: Partner with Editorial, Search, and other internal teams to deliver cohesive omni-channel campaigns, acting as the social gatekeeper for a unified content strategy.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 7+ years of hands-on social media experience, with a strong agency background preferred.
- A proven track record of designing, pitching, and executing end-to-end social media strategies that deliver measurable business results.
- A highly analytical mindset, with proven experience in conducting brand/competitor audits and using data to uncover actionable insights that inform strategy.
- Exceptional presentation and communication skills; you must be confident and compelling when "running the show" in client meetings, workshops, and new business pitches.
- Deep, hands-on expertise across all major social platforms, including strategic and practical knowledge of TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and Facebook.
- Strong experience in building and pitching compelling, data-backed proposals and strategies.
- Highly organized, proactive, and "hands-on"; a true all-rounder who can lead strategy development and oversee flawless execution.
- Nice to Have:
- Hands-on experience with paid social media, including planning, execution, and optimization.
- Experience with creator and influencer marketing, from strategic planning and talent identification to campaign execution and ROI analysis.
