As a social writer for our sites, you will be writing short, punchy articles based on our most viral Facebook posts. These posts already have traction, you will be just giving them a second life on the websites. The ideal candidate will be a fast writer, nail the tone and spot the difference between a 10K view post and a 10M view one.
Responsibilities:
- Turn our Facebook posts into articles
- Write 6-8 posts in English a day in a casual, readable tone
- Must be located in Brazil, in a similar timezone
- Use templates to keep formatting and structure tight
- Work async but check in regularly with Elliot and the team
- Match each article with an image, video or meme (we will train you on this)
- Stay on top of what's trending in Netflix, Marvel, horror and pop culture
