We're looking for an experienced, creative, and highly organized Social Media Specialist to help elevate Verisk's presence across digital channels.
You'll transform complex industry topics into engaging and relevant content, identify emerging opportunities, and support strategic campaigns that enhance awareness, engagement, and reputation. Working closely with communications professionals, marketers, business leaders, and subject matter experts, you'll help bring Verisk's expertise and innovation to life through compelling social storytelling.
This role is ideal for someone who combines strong content creation skills with a strategic mindset, an understanding of audience engagement, and a passion for using social media to drive measurable impact.
ResponsibilitiesDevelop and publish engaging content across Verisk's social media channels
Support executive thought leadership, employee advocacy, and brand storytelling initiatives
Create, schedule, and optimize content for organic and paid social campaigns
Partner with business leaders, subject matter experts, and cross-functional teams to identify compelling stories and content opportunities
Collaborate with communications and marketing teams to deliver integrated campaigns aligned with business goals
Manage content workflows, campaign timelines, and project coordination across teams
Monitor industry trends, audience conversations, and competitor activity to identify engagement opportunities
Review and respond to social media inquiries and interactions
Create or coordinate visual, graphic, and video content for social platforms
Analyze social media performance and generate insights to improve content strategies and campaign effectiveness
Contribute to ongoing social media initiatives and special projects across the business
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field
Between 6-8 years of professional social media experience within a complex, international organization
Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills with experience creating content for B2B audiences
Experience running paid social campaigns across platforms such as LinkedIn, Meta, YouTube, etc.
Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Experience working with diverse stakeholders and building strong cross-functional relationships
Knowledge of social media best practices, particularly LinkedIn and other channels used for corporate communications and thought leadership
Experience using social media management and analytics platforms such as Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Sprinklr, or similar tools
Ability to interpret performance data and use insights to optimize content and engagement strategies
Fluent English language skills, both written and spoken
