Purpose of the Position:
This incumbent will be reporting to Project Manager, Social Media, in collaborating with internal stakeholders to manage social media/ off-platform growth and achieve performance targets for all Magazine titles(Cosmopolitan HK, ELLE HK, ELLE Men HK, Esquire HK, Harper’s Bazaar HK), and new business ventures. Explore new platforms and develop social media/ off-platform experiments to acquire audience & customers, drive engagement and add value to company advertising, content and commerce business.
In this role, you will:
- Assisting in monitoring social media performance (e.g. Instagram, Facebook, Threads, RedNote, YouTube, WhatsApp) / off-platform development to drive traffic referral, audience & customer acquisition, engagement and product sales.
- Work with editorial and internal teams to develop social media strategy Provide insights and develop action plan on a regular basis to improve performance and achieve KPIs growth.
- Explore new platforms and new trends while developing & experiment with new off-platform products for community expansion and improving user engagement.
- Support new ideas and solutions on social and off-platform for sales and client projects
Manage content partnerships and syndications to maximize traffic return. - Collaborate closely with different stakeholders to address project requirements, monitor progress to ensure timely delivery and review and evaluate project result
- Provide training to editorial and internal teams as well as knowledge sharing to strengthen learning culture.
Skills and Experience that will lead to success:
- Degree holder in Business, Marketing, Communications, Information Technology or related disciplines.
- At least 2 years relevant experience in social media, product development or project management, preferably from a digital agency or media industry.
- Passionate about social media with a proven track record to build fans, engagement and reach across Instagram, Facebook, Threads, RedNote, YouTube, WhatsApp, Google and various social platforms.
- Solid knowledge in digital media, interactive marketing and digital campaigns.
- Experience in web analytics and/or data mining, project experience in content syndication, social media, website, and interactive products would be an advantages
- Strong sense of responsibility and ownership of the work while able to collaborate with different stakeholders
- Ability to handle ad hoc campaigns, immediate requests with strong problem-solving skills.
- Resourceful, independent, and creative with exceptional communication, presentation and organizational skills.
- Proficient in spoken Cantonese and English, written English and Chinese
- Strong interest in fashion, beauty, lifestyle, entertainment trends would be an advantage
- Candidates with more experience and/or qualification will be considered as Senior Project Executive
Work location will be located in Wong Chuk Hang.
