DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Social Media Management: Oversee social channels, including X and LinkedIn, and manage all interaction.
Relationship Building: Identify and cultivate relationships with influencers, developers, and advocates in the AI and tech communities.
Community Influence: Shape community strategy, editorial content, and support development.
Community Development: Manage and develop community-focused content and feedback.
Engagement: Actively engage with the AI community, especially developers, across social media platforms, empowering individuals to become brand advocates.
Real-Time Engagement: Seize opportunities to engage with emerging technologies and conversations in real-time.
Analytics: Utilize social analytics tools to identify engagement opportunities, report on feedback and sentiment, and provide strategic insights to stakeholders.
Copywriting: Craft compelling social media messages that align with the company's brand voice and ensure proper tone within the community.
Editorial Calendar Management: Collaborate on an integrated editorial calendar, publishing content to strengthen the company's positioning and align across campaigns, news, and cultural intersects.
Content Production Support: Support and assist with content briefs and production strategies that align with business objectives, experimenting with new processes and styles.
Global Collaboration: Partner with creatives and contributors worldwide to source stories and topics that resonate with the community.
Audience Growth: Capture new developer and tech audiences, ensuring content grows engagement and optimizes results.
Insights and Reporting: Create reports for internal stakeholders and partner with data and analytics teams to ensure community insights and social listening are reported accurately, driving strategy alignment.
Strategic Alignment: Align with HQ Community and Social Strategists on planning and tactics for competitive response through ongoing community management.
Event Support: Support global events with real-time social content curation, capture, and production.
Surprise and Delight: Plan and execute surprise and delight programs.
Customer Support Collaboration: Oversee and collaborate with Customer Support to address community feedback.
Platform Relationships: Maintain strong relationships with representatives at each social media platform, especially X and LinkedIn.
Special Projects: Handle special projects and other duties as assigned
SKILLS REQUIREMENTS
- Strong technical copywriting and editing skills
- Understanding of 3rd party social media community management and publication platforms (Sprinklr)
- Knowledgeable about content (owned & curated) and engagement strategies
- Develop digital and branded content from a strategic and execution perspective
- Data-driven professional, able to translate raw data into actionable insights
- Proven Microsoft PowerPoint and presentation skills
- Proven collaboration skills
- Enthusiasm, confidence, strong business acumen
- Superior organizational and project management skills, along with diligence to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to function in a highly matrixed organization
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Experience in the developer and tech industry, AI experience preferred.
- Proven results in social media management and community management, with a deep understanding of LinkedIn, X, and other relevant platforms
- Social copywriting experience, demonstrated ability to create engaging and impactful content
- 5+ years of community management experience, social media management experience, and/or community platform experience
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Journalism, Communications, or a related field preferred
The salary range for this position is $100K minimum - $110K maximum per annum depending upon experience. Compensation varies depending on location, and job-related factors such as experience, responsibilities, and business needs.
