And this is where you come in…

We're looking for a dynamic Social Media Manager to join our team. You'll gain hands-on experience leading Kabam’s social presence, shaping player engagement across digital platforms. Acting as both a strategist and creator, you'll ensure campaigns align with business priorities, amplify key player moments, and use data-driven insights for stronger engagement and growth. This is a fantastic opportunity to plan and execute best-in-class social content for titles like Marvel Contest of Champions and Shop Titans, and contribute to bringing our games to life.

In this role, you can expect to:

  • Proactively stay ahead of industry trends and platform innovations to evolve Kabam’s social media approach.

  • Campaign Leadership & Execution
  • Lead the planning, development, and execution of social campaigns tied to product launches, live ops, community events, and key cultural moments to drive player engagement.
  • Produce content calendars to ensure marketing roadmaps are tightly aligned and integrated with business priorities.
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration to ensure product marketing, game dev, community, and growth teams are aligned on social strategy.

  • Content Development
  • Provide creative direction and strategic guidance to internal teams to produce highly engaging, high quality content such as short-form videos, copy, images, memes, and campaigns.
  • Ensure all content strengthens Kabam’s brand voice and resonates with gaming audiences.
  • Champion new content formats and storytelling approaches to keep Kabam at the forefront of gaming social media trends.

  • Performance & Insights
  • Own the reporting that tracks and analyzes social performance, reporting regularly on KPIs (engagement, reach, follower growth, sentiment, creative effectiveness) and drive actionable insights and recommendations to optimize future campaigns.
  • Provide actionable recommendations and regular updates to senior leadership to optimize campaigns and content strategies ensuring continuous improvement and innovation over time.

  • Community & Event Amplification
  • Lead Kabam’s social amplification of community and fan events (e.g., conventions, player events) with timely and engaging social amplification
  • Extend Kabam’s presence beyond the event floor to energize the broader community.

  • Collaboration & Partnerships
  • Manage relationships with IP holders such as Marvel to ensure alignment with brand guidelines and support integration with their social channels.
  • Partner and collaborate with Product Marketing, Community, Growth, and game studios to ensure social campaigns reflect that business priorities are aligned with marketing and game development goals.

To be successful in this role, your background includes:

  • 5+ years of professional experience managing social media, ideally in gaming or entertainment
  • Deep familiarity with TikTok, Instagram, Twitter/X, YouTube, and Facebook
  • Solid understanding of what drives engagement across platforms
  • Experience with analytics and scheduling tools such as Sprout, Hootsuite, or native platform dashboards a plus
  • Creative mindset with strong writing, ideation, and storytelling skills
  • Ability to adapt quickly in a live-service game environment where business objectives and priorities change fast
  • Passion for gaming—especially free-to-play mobile games. Familiarity with Marvel Contest of Champions is a huge plus

  • Telus Virtual Health: we provide increased access to remote healthcare providers for prescription refills or referrals from the comfort of your home.
  • Learning and growth: We encourage people to grow both personally and professionally, and support this through regular lunch & learns and an education stipend.
  • Pay transparency: We share with employees the pay range their role falls within and clear career maps to determine how they can grow within their role or level-up to a promotion.
  • Cool spaces: Our offices are in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Vancouver, Montreal, Prince Edward Island, and Seoul. Whether it’s summers on the rooftop patio in Downtown Vancouver, watching the fireworks in Montreal’s South Shore, or trying local eats in Downtown Charlottetown - we want our people to feel like their time spent in office is worthwhile!
  • Giving back: Kabammers have a dedicated paid day off every year to volunteer to a cause close to their hearts. Some teams even band together for group volunteer days off-site!
