What You Will Do
As the Senior Social Media Manager at Moveworks, you’ll significantly increase our presence and visibility on LinkedIn and help drive engagement. You’ll quickly learn our story, products, technology, market, and culture, to then develop a voice for our social media presence. This voice should be loud enough to bring consistency, fun enough to attract an audience, but still be appropriate for the enterprise companies we serve.
This position will work closely with the executive team and the marketing team.
You’ll be a listener. Listening to company meetings, founders, marketing teams, product teams, customers Success, events, PR/AR, sales, and more. After listening you’ll develop themes and figure creative ways to post on an ongoing basis while remaining fresh and interesting. And, given the fast-moving nature of a startup environment, you will be agile in your approach, and adaptable to the changing landscape.
You’ll do much of the writing and develop graphics concepts for you or design to execute. As part of this you will help develop a calendar and cadence (multiple posts a day). You’ll help senior employees understand how to write in the voice you create as well as ensure corporate posts written by others are not too far afield.
We encourage experimentation and expect this hire to take full ownership of what's working and what's not.
Once you understand our customer base and turn our LinkedIn presence into a world class operation, you will look to YouTube, Twitter/X, and other platforms and create strategies and execution plans that further help us grow.
We’ve got great stuff for you to work with. We’ve got a world-class AI product that is currently helping employees at well known companies remove friction from their days and increase their productivity. We’ve got great customer case studies from some of the world’s largest brands. And we’ve got great employees for you to work with.
This is a roll up your sleeves and dive-in job. A chance for you to develop a social media vision for us and execute on it. Are you ready?
Be Prepared To Tell Us
- What enterprise technology company has a LinkedIn presence that you admire?
- What post on our LinkedIn channel gets you interested enough to follow us? Which bores you enough to unsubscribe?
- Which social media 'rules' should be followed without exception? And which ones are worth questioning, bending, or even breaking. (We’re opinionated but you should be also — even if we don’t always agree.)
What You Bring To The Table
- Experience in digital / social marketing as well as experience in B2B marketing.
- Excellent storytelling and writing skills, with a track record of distilling complicated concepts into compelling content.
- An expert user of LinkedIn and a deep, evolving understanding of other platforms, including advanced / paid features.
- A deep knowledge of how social media algorithms work and how they change over time
- A pulse on the latest social trends and innovations to drive consistent engagement.
- A proven ability to gain followers and build a positive reputation for a corporate account.
- Experience collaborating with thought leaders on social media.
- A passion for using data to inform strategic decisions, including performance tracking and behavioral analytics.
- Capable of leading and prioritizing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to think about social media strategically and develop strategic plans.
- Insatiable curiosity, a strong work ethic, and a growth mindset.
- A willingness and excitement to work out of an office. This is not an arbitrary rules based requirement. We believe being in our headquarters with access to the executive team as well as others will help you rapidly understand the product, message and vibe of the company.
