Description
We are looking for a creative Social Media Manager to own our social media and some content strategy here at FusionAuth. This role will be a blend of strategy and execution responsible for creating various content across channels, owning our social media calendar, amplifying employee engagement, and engaging directly with our audience of developers. The ideal candidate will have a background in marketing to developers, or another technical persona, with a passion for social media and video content. You'll report to Emily (VP of Marketing) and work with Sean (Digital Creative Director), Blair (Marketing Manager), and Brad (Sr Growth Marketing Manager).
Responsibilities

  • Create the social media strategy and build our presence on all social media platforms
  • Own and manage the online events program for the company, with consistent high-quality execution coupled with experimentation to find what resonates best
  • Work with internal and external vendor teams to develop and publish high-quality social media and video content: from explainer videos to live events
  • Manage all social media channels: creating and managing our presence on popular platforms, creating and posting content on a consistent schedule, and using a channel-fluent voice and tone that builds enthusiasm and connection to developers.
  • Partner with developer relations on ongoing community management
  • Develop a media calendar and manage social media moderation and vendors
  • Help with product launches and new announcements with comms support
  • Produce blogs, presentations, and other written materials as needed


Skills

  • 5+ years of content marketing / social media management experience with a track record of successful social media campaigns
  • You know the power of a good meme
  • A deep understanding of the developer personas and technical audiences
  • Advanced knowledge of Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, Discord, and Reddit
  • Experience with moderating, engaging, and cultivating strong advocacy within community social platforms
  • Proficiency in social media/marketing tools and content creation tools
  • Experience with paid social programs and measuring tools
