This role is part of our Growth marketing team. We deliver end to end data driven campaigns which foster both creativity and performance. Our specialty is creative, digital communications that drives performance, boost brand awareness, and shift market share for our clients including eBay, Douglas, Aldi, Smart, and more! Our team in Germany is the only agency that combines technology, creativity and data to really make our clients grow.

JOB PURPOSE

We’re looking for a Social Media Manager to enhance brand awareness for several channels and clients, both in German and English. This role will involve content planning, creation, publication and community management. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Content Planning & Campaign Management:

  • taking over ongoing campaigns, accounts, and content plans to ensure smooth operations
  • develop and execute comprehensive social media plans
  • Create, plan and publish based on briefings while remaining flexible for unplanned topics

Copywriting & Asset Creation:

  • Write engaging copy in both German and English tailored to the target audiences
  • Edit assets as needed and create trackable short URLs for campaigns
  • Write briefings for content creators / CGC and overlook their work

Community Management (DE & ENG)

  • Passive: respond to messages (using pre-made templates) -> the goal being to offer a pragmatic but timely response to comments / messages
  • Active: interact with the customers, industry peers, communities & organisations in order to boost the brand awareness and position brands 
  • Weekly Meetings, internal & client facing

Production

  • Work alongside production teams to produce social content (TikTok, Reels, Photos, …)
  • Oversee post production of short form video

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR

  • Proven experience in organic social media management, asset creation & community management (show us what you’re proud of!)
  • Strong proficiency in both German and English (written and spoken)
  • Presenting skills (there is a few exciting pitches on the horizon)
  • Familiarity with social media management tools
  • Excellent copywriting skills with the ability to create compelling content
  • Strong organizational skills, even if managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Creative mindset with an understanding of current social media trends and a can do attitude
