As a Social Media Manager at GAMURS, you won’t just be posting links—you’ll be the voice of our gaming and entertainment communities. You will create, curate, and repost content that stops the scroll, engages a massive audience, and keeps them coming back for more.
We are looking for a creative powerhouse who can proficiently edit and create unique content to be shared across our social media channels. If you live on the internet, speak fluent 'meme,' and understand what makes a gamer click, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities- Content Creation & Design: Design custom posters, graphics, and visual assets that capture the latest trends in gaming and pop culture. You will create high-quality content that can be repurposed across our diverse network of pages.
- Facebook Growth & Management: Take ownership of assigned Facebook pages, maintaining a daily schedule of high-volume, high-quality posts with the explicit goal of scaling engagement and reach.
- Strategy & Analysis: Participate in weekly strategy calls with the Social Lead to review analytics. You will provide feedback on what’s working, identify what isn’t, and propose tweaks to optimize the performance of the pages you manage.
- Community Engagement: Actively monitor comments and discussions to foster a positive community environment and increase audience interaction.
- Trend Spotting: Stay ahead of the curve on gaming news, entertainment releases, and viral trends to ensure our content is timely and relevant.
- Experience: Proven experience managing social media pages (preferably in gaming, esports, or entertainment) with a track record of growing followers and engagement.
- Design Proficiency: Strong skills in graphic design tools (e.g., Photoshop, Canva) and basic video editing (e.g., Premiere, CapCut) to create original memes and assets.
- Gaming Knowledge: A genuine passion for and deep knowledge of the gaming and entertainment landscape. You know your RPGs from your FPSs.
- Data-Minded: Ability to interpret social analytics (Reach, CTR, Engagement Rate) and adapt content strategies based on data.
- Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced scale-up environment where trends change daily.
