You’ll lead and mentor the social media team, collaborate cross-functionally with editorial, video, and product marketing teams, among others, and provide guidance across the company on how social media can support initiatives such as employer branding and community engagement.

Your daily tasks will entail:

  • Stay ahead of cultural and social trends, leveraging them to drive relevance, engagement, and brand storytelling.

  • Provide strategic input on how social media can enhance broader company initiatives, including employer branding, PR campaigns, and corporate storytelling.

  • Lead social media response strategies in times of crisis, ensuring messaging is timely, consistent, and aligned with company values.

Content Development & Oversight

  • Oversee the end-to-end social content pipeline, from ideation through publishing.

  • Own the social-first approach to short-form video—shaping scripts, trend use, and publishing strategies for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts together with the Video Team creators.

  • Collaborate with in-house creators, designers, and copywriters to produce engaging, on-brand content that drives impact.

  • Manage and maintain editorial calendars, ensuring timely delivery of seasonal campaigns, product launches, and evergreen content.

  • Ensure all social assets are consistent with brand guidelines, messaging, and tone.

Leadership & Team Management

  • Lead, mentor, and inspire the social media team, fostering growth, creativity, and high performance.

  • Provide guidance on best practices, content development, and campaign execution, ensuring team members are empowered to deliver results.

  • Set clear goals, prioritize initiatives, and support professional development within the team.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner closely with other marketing functions, including the Editorial, Brand, Video, Product Marketing, Performance Marketing, and SEO teams, to deliver cohesive campaigns.

  • Act as a trusted advisor for teams across the company seeking social media expertise.

Performance & Growth

  • Monitor, analyze, and report on key performance metrics (engagement, impressions, reach, follower growth, CTR, etc.), delivering actionable insights to stakeholders.

  • Continuously optimize content based on data, trends, and platform shifts to improve KPIs.

  • Partner with Paid Social, SEO, and broader marketing teams to align organic performance with integrated growth strategies.

Collaboration & Partnerships

  • Work closely with partners, vendors, and influencers to co-create content and amplify campaigns.

  • Drive collaborative marketing activities, ensuring partner activations are aligned with brand voice and strategic goals.

  • Build and nurture external relationships that expand reach and strengthen community engagement.

Your Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in leading organic social media strategy for a global brand or fast-growing company.

  • Strong understanding of platform-specific best practices, trends, and audience behaviors across Instagram, Facebook, Threads, TikTok, LinkedIn, X, Pinterest, YouTube, and emerging platforms.

  • Hands-on experience with short-form video production, scripting, and trend-driven content creation.

  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills, with experience running multiple calendars and strategies across several brands and channels.

  • Strong balance of creative instincts and analytical skills, able to translate performance data into actionable optimizations.

  • Experience managing and mentoring social media teams.

  • Excellent track record of cross-functional collaboration with creative, marketing, and product teams.

  • Excellent communication and copywriting skills, both written and verbal.
