Who YOU Are:
We are looking for a dynamic and innovative Social Media Lead & Creator to own our social media strategy from ideation to execution. This is a contract-to-hire role for a highly skilled content creator who is comfortable on camera, deeply knowledgeable about YouTube, and ready to establish themselves as a thought leader in the space. If you live and breathe YouTube, love engaging with creators, and have a proven track record of growing social communities, we want to hear from you!
What You'll Do:
- Develop and execute TubeBuddy’s social media strategy across platforms, with a strong focus on engagement, brand awareness, and audience growth.
- Create compelling, high-quality content (video, graphics, text) that resonates with YouTube creators.
- Be the face of TubeBuddy on social media—comfortable on camera for short-form and long-form video content.
- Stay ahead of industry trends and position TubeBuddy as a thought leader in the YouTube creator economy.
- Engage with our online community across X (Twitter), Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Discord, and Reddit.
- Collaborate with internal teams to support marketing campaigns, product launches, and promotional initiatives.
- Analyze performance metrics and adjust strategy for continuous improvement.
What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience growing and managing social media communities, preferably in the creator economy or tech space.
- Deep knowledge of YouTube, content trends, and the creator ecosystem.
- Exceptional video content creation skills—both behind and in front of the camera.
- Strong storytelling and copywriting abilities.
- Proficiency in social media tools, scheduling platforms, and analytics.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, remote work environment with a high degree of autonomy.
Bonus Points:
- Existing presence or credibility in the YouTube creator community.
- Experience working with influencer partnerships or brand collaborations.
- Familiarity with TubeBuddy or other YouTube growth tools.
Location:
Remote (aligned with US/Canada time zones, but open to candidates from any location)
