PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

KARL LAGERFELD is looking for a Social Media Intern to assist in managing a growing social media presence. You will support campaign initiatives, content creation, content strategies and help identify areas of growth for the company. This is a 6-month position starting end June/mid July and you will be reporting to the Social Media Specialist. 

Community management

    • Schedule and post creative assets on all social media platforms.
    • Monitor daily social media conversations, comments, and engagement across all platforms.
    • Support the Social Media Specialist in maintaining and updating the editorial calendar. 

Content Creation

  • Assist in the ideation and production of TikTok videos.
  • Stay up to date with emerging trends and identify those that can be adapted to the brand’s values and identity.
  • Contribute to developing a strong content strategy to support the brand’s success on the platform. 

Analysis and Report

    • Support management with data and & KPI reports.
    • Assist with benchmarks, audits, and monthly social media reports, highlighting organic performance, key successes, and actionable learnings.  

Requirements

    • Fluent in English, and French is a plus;
    • Strong understanding of social media platforms, particularly TikTok (platform language, content creation, and trend awareness)
    • Experience in content creation, including video editing skills, as well as community management.
    • Good knowledge of Excel and Power Point. 

Start date: End of June / Mid-July. / Available for 6 months / Full Time
