The Opportunity
Responsible for planning and executing the social media programme for the Group, overseeing all social media channels and campaigns to drive engagement and awareness.
Responsibilities:
- Manage day to day social media activity - generate, edit, publish and share engaging content
- Liaise with key stakeholders in the Group – talent, marketing, research – to understand plans, advise on most effective channels and manage flow of content to ensure complementary activity across sometimes competing priorities
- Make informed decisions regarding social media activity based on thorough and researched understanding of which communities are relevant to target audiences – candidates, clients, prospects, industry communities
- Integrate social media approaches with wider marketing and communication initiatives ensuring all campaigns and activity are on brand and driving maximum engagement
- Understand all aspects of organic social media and maintain knowledge of new and emerging technologies and approaches to social media and actively champions new ideas and initiatives
- Measure impact and performance of social media activity and revise plans accordingly, sharing feedback and data from social media with key stakeholders
- Maintain visibility of conversations across all social media channels, liaising with key stakeholders in the business to recommend and implement appropriate reaction
- Oversee social media channel design etc… LinkedIn Life, profile pictures, banners
Minimum Requirements:
- Communication: Effective communication is crucial to convey ideas clearly to various stakeholders, both internally and externally. Consistency in brand voice is essential when communicating on social media platforms
- Platform expertise: Staying up-to-date with social media platforms, algorithms, and trends, understanding how each platform works, using knowledge to create engaging content and optimise/adapt strategy
- Data Analysis: Analysing social media data, interpreting reports, understanding metrics, and using insights to refine strategy.
- Content Management: Strong content management skills to curate and create compelling content
- Creativity: Being creative to develop fresh and engaging content - catchy captions, eye-catching visuals
- Project Management: Helping you to stay organised, meet deadlines, and handle campaigns effectively
- Stakeholder Management: Strong stakeholder management skills are essential to coordinate efforts, delegate tasks, and ensure everyone works cohesively
