Now we’re looking for a bold and creative Social Media & Creators Club Manager to help turn our platform into a cultural movement. If you live and breathe content, thrive in internet culture, and believe in the future of the creator economy, this might be your dream role.

What You’ll Do

This role combines social strategy, content creation, and community building. You’ll work closely with our founding team to make Locals unmissable online and unforgettable for creators.

Social Media Strategy and Execution

• Lead our multi-platform social presence across TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, and YouTube.

• Post daily with intention, speed, and personality.

• Experiment with content types and formats to unlock what works.

• Deliver standout campaigns and trend-jacking moments that feel native, not forced.

Content Creation and Storytelling

• Write with clarity, energy, and humour.

• Produce scroll-stopping short-form videos and visuals using tools like CapCut, Canva, or Figma.

• Repurpose community and event content in smart, creative ways.

• Attend creator events and capture behind-the-scenes moments.

Community Building and Club Management

• Run the Locals Creators Hub - our private space for creators to connect, share wins, and learn from each other.

• Launch regular activations (challenges, AMAs, webinars) that keep creators coming back.

• Turn passive followers into proud community contributors.

Creator Collaboration and Outreach

• Identify creators who embody the Locals vibe.

• Co-create content that promotes their work and our platform.

• Assist with creator outreach and build lasting relationships with rising talent.

Insights and Learning

• Report on what’s working (and what’s not).

• Share insights to guide content, product, and growth decisions.

• Help shape our tone of voice and cultural position as we scale.

You’ll Thrive in This Role If You…

• Have 2–5 years of experience in social media, content, or community - ideally in a startup, tech, or creator-focused brand.

• Understand social platforms natively and intuitively.

• Have strong writing skills with a natural voice and sharp sense of humour.

• Are confident in tools like Canva, Notion, Descript, CapCut, or Figma.

• Have managed or grown an online community before.

• Keep a close eye on internet trends, memes, and creator culture.

• Are proactive, curious, and excited to build something new.

• Want to work closely with a small, ambitious team shaping the future of creative communities.

Bonus Points If You…

• Have worked directly with creators, influencers, or talent managers.

• Have managed communities on Discord, Slack, or Telegram.

• Create your own content on TikTok, YouTube, Substack, or other platforms.

• Are already familiar with the Locals platform.

• A content engine that drives engagement, creator signups, and upgrades.
