The Social Media Coordinator is essential to support the daily execution of our growing social initiatives, allowing the Head of Social to focus on high-level strategy, long-term brand building, and major campaign development. From real-time community engagement and content scheduling to UTM tracking, product launches, and partnership activations, the scope and volume of social tasks has outgrown the capacity of a one-person team.

Key Responsibilities
Content Creation & Scheduling
- Strategically develop and curate engaging content for all social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X/Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.) that aligns with brand voice and campaign goals.
- Build and manage a consistent posting calendar, ensuring timely publication of weekly content across platforms.
- Collaborate with internal teams (design, product, marketing) to gather assets and align on key messaging and priorities.
Community Management
- Actively engage with the online community by responding to comments, direct messages, and brand mentions in a timely, professional manner (excluding customer service-specific inquiries).
- Identify and tag customer service tickets in Sprout Social to ensure proper routing and resolution.
- Foster a positive, authentic brand presence by building meaningful connections with followers and fans.
Launch Execution
- Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of small to mid-scale product launches, brand announcements, and seasonal campaigns.
- Ensure social content and scheduling align with campaign timelines, promotional strategies, and marketing objectives.
- Coordinate cross-functional input to deliver cohesive messaging and impactful launch moments.
Product Tracking & Analytics
- Generate and manage UTM links to track campaign and product performance across digital touchpoints.
- Monitor link performance and adjust strategies based on traffic, engagement, and conversion data.
Partnerships & Programs
- Support the creation and scheduling of content related to brand partnerships, ambassador programs, influencer collaborations, and community initiatives.
- Ensure proper tagging, attribution, and visibility for partner content across relevant platforms.
Trend Monitoring & Industry Awareness
- Stay current with emerging social media trends, platform updates, algorithm changes, and cultural moments.
- Proactively suggest content ideas and strategy shifts based on relevant trends and industry best practices to maximize reach and engagement.
KPI Tracking & Reporting
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) across platforms including reach, engagement, follower growth, click-through rates, and conversions.
- Compile regular performance reports and provide actionable insights to guide content and campaign optimizations.
- Collaborate with the team to A/B test content formats, posting times, and messaging to improve results.
- 2+ years of experience in social media management.
- Strong understanding of all major social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X (formerly Twitter), YouTube, and LinkedIn.
- Experience managing and growing a YouTube channel is highly valued.
- Experience in ideating, filming, editing, and publishing engaging TikTok content that aligns with brand voice, taps into current trends, and drives platform growth
- Excellent copywriting skills with a strong grasp of tone, clarity, and storytelling.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple campaigns, content calendars, and deadlines simultaneously in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- A keen eye for visual composition, trends, and aesthetics with the ability to collaborate on or direct creative content that stands out in feed
- Understanding of UTM links and other tools to monitor campaign performance and user behavior across channels.
- Deep understanding of how to represent and maintain a consistent brand voice and visual identity across multiple platforms and content formats.
- Proficiency in using tools like Meta Business Suite and Sprout Social for content scheduling, audience engagement, and performance tracking.
