About the RoleWe are a small team working in a fast-paced environment. As a member of the global digital marketing team, you will be at the forefront of growing the MUBI brand and business through assisting with the running of our global social media channels, including content planning, creation and reporting, as well as assisting with campaigns for upcoming original MUBI Releases. This is a chance to embed yourself in a high-growth industry at the intersection of technology and film.
We’re looking for someone creative, passionate and knowledgeable about social media, with an interest in the evolving digital landscape; someone who is energetic, creative, collaborative, detail-oriented, and takes pride in the work they do.
We work hybrid-remote where we require 3 office days in London. Our core days are Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday, with the flexibility to use our offices on the remaining two days if you wish.
Where you’ll have impact:Support the organic social media team in the running of MUBI’s global social media footprint (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X, FB)
Own content research, content ideation and content creation, with inherent creativity, an understanding of culture, and an eye for standout social-first content that genuinely connects
Own areas of social media reporting, using our third-party reporting tools to support in the tracking of our channel and campaign performance across social
Draft engaging social media copy to support our channels and campaigns
Support the team in facilitating their collaboration across departments, being an active voice in meetings while also helping to coordinate them
Engage with our community, taking an active role in our social monitoring and customer communications via social, with the support of the wider social & customer teams
Research and report on competitive trends in social media marketing
2 - 3 years of experience working in social media/digital marketing with a strong understanding of social platforms and what good organic content looks like
Examples of creative, engaging and successful social media content for campaigns, with proven results
Proven ability to write compelling, engaging short form social copy for brand social channels
An understanding of social media reporting, reporting tools, the metrics that matter, and how to analyse them. Including experience creating social media reports for broader departments
Ability to work independently toward deadlines, juggling multiple tasks, and reporting results line manager
Working knowledge of editing software such as Premiere and Photoshop, for social content
Background in a creative or social agency, or in-house digital marketing role
Fluency in English
Undergraduate degree or other professional qualification
Passion for cinema, especially independent, international and classic films.
