Social Media Content Coordinator

Kontoor Brands is currently seeking a Social Media Content Coordinator for our Lee team at our Greensboro, NC office. The Social Media Content Coordinator will support the Lee social media team to build and elevate the brand’s social media presence with a focus on developing engaging organic content on TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and Pinterest, prioritizing original video content across TikTok and Instagram Reels.

This hands-on role will be responsible for executing the brand’s social media content strategy in collaboration with the social media, brand marketing, and e-commerce teams. This role will own the development and curation of engaging social-first content including editing written, video, and photo content. A successful candidate has their finger on the pulse of pop culture and the latest social trends and knows when and how to insert the brand in relevant conversations. Additionally, they will support strategic social media and influencer marketing plans and help bring them to life. The ideal applicant must be able to quickly ideate and produce creative, on-trend, and opportunistic video content leveraging the latest native social platform tools. They will actively engage with social communities on behalf of the brand, building relationships with users and identifying new opportunities. They must be curious, collaborative, passionate about social media and culture, and a natural problem solver who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Partners with Social Media Manager and in-house and agency creative teams to execute the Lee brand social content strategy
  • Manages the day-to-day and executes against social content calendar
  • Leads social media content development, producing and coordinating videos and other social content that is fresh, compelling, entertaining, and engages key audiences.
  • Lives and breathes TikTok; owns TikTok channel engagement and community management, identifying opportunities to engage with users as well as create real-time content (stitches, trending sounds, etc.)
  • Collaborates with Social Media Influencer Manager on influencer selection to ensure influencer content aligns with paid and organic social media needs, brand priorities, and key seasonal stories
  • Assists with the development, planning and implementation of social media campaigns
  • Assists with all monthly, quarterly, annual, and campaign-based social media reporting
  • Monitors industry updates and proactively identifies creative opportunities for the brand

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university or equivalent experience
  • Has a demonstrated passion for social media marketing with 2-3 years of experience creating social media content, including vertical video content for TikTok and Instagram
  • Has experience managing social media platforms for professional use, including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, and YouTube
  • Experience with social media management and reporting platforms (i.e., Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Sprinklr, etc.)
  • Possesses impeccable attention to detail and the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and juggle projects effectively; demonstrates resourcefulness and intellectual curiosity
  • Demonstrates excellent communication skills and sharp writing skills
  • Has an eye for visual aesthetics, including formatting and layout, and produces polished deliverables
  • Meets personal deadlines, and helps ensure that team and creative deadlines are never missed
  • Understands that managing social media channels is not an 8-5 job and occasional work will take place outside of traditional business hours
  • Bonus points: Experience with Adobe Creative Suite and video editing software
