Social Media Communication Sr Analyst/Manager

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Santander is seeking a highly motivated, experienced and talented Social Media Content Creator to join our Digital Communication team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating compelling content for social media platforms, both corporate and from top executives.
We are looking for candidates who are outstanding communicators with the ability to effectively convey the strategic aims of the bank through thoughtful, engaging content. Candidates should also have the advisory skills to define and manage digital and social media strategies and plans, including providing effective counsel to senior management. Proven digital communications experience, stakeholder management, writing skills and availability to work outside normal business hours (weekends included) are critical skills for this role.
Responsibilities:
- Create high-quality and engaging content in Spanish and English. Event and real-time content creation required for corporate channels and senior management profiles.
- Conduct research and analysis to create articles and posts on various topics.
- Develop creative solutions to effectively communicate complex financial concepts.
- Analyze performance data and innovate the digital communications strategy to optimize and grow communities and performance metrics.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure consistent messaging across all communication channels.
- Proactively coordinate with all stakeholders, including top executives, corporate, business units and country teams to identify best practices, provide innovative ideas and insights.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in digital content and social media
- Proactively identify engagement opportunities and develop meaningful content, to maximize reach and avoid reputational risks.
- Manage video content production and its integration into digital media platforms.
Requirements:
- Minimum C1 level of English proficiency, but having a level of C2 is highly recommended (Essential).
- Knowledge of other languages spoken within Santander, such as Polish and Portuguese, will be positively valued.
- Strong storytelling and writing skills in Spanish and English. A journalistic background is desirable.
- Strong understanding of finance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Excel and presentation creation.
- Strong team player. Comfortable working collaboratively, virtually and independently. A self-starter with a “can-do” attitude.

- Hands-on experience in new digital trends and content creation
- Leadership with the ability make decisions, solve problems and manage and strengthen relationships with stakeholders, with a clear sense of escalation needs and sense of urgency on issues or projects.
- High proficiency in image and video content edition is desirable
Experience
- Communication experience as a communication expert, journalist or digital content creator.
- Proven experience managing online communication crises in high pressure environments, addressing top executives’ needs.
- At least 8 years of experience in digital content creation (in an agency or communication department). Being a heavy user of social media is a must.
