Position Overview: We are seeking a Social Media & Content Manager to bring the Cape Resorts brand to life across our digital channels. Reporting to the Director of Social Media & Content, this role is highly hands-on—responsible for daily social execution, content creation, copywriting, and performance tracking. You will be the engine behind our content output: capturing, creating, editing, writing, and publishing content that feels both elevated and immediate. This role is ideal for someone who is both creative and detail-oriented—with strong instincts for what performs on social, and the technical and editorial skills to produce high-quality content in real time.

These duties may be described as, but not limited to:

  • Own daily posting across all social platforms, ensuring consistency in voice, tone, and timing
  • Manage content calendars in partnership with the Director, bringing campaigns and moments to life across 9+ brand accounts on each platform
  • Monitor engagement, respond to comments and messages, and foster an active, on-brand community
  • Write all social captions, story copy, and short-form messaging across platforms
  • Translate the brand voice into copy that feels elevated, engaging, and platform-appropriate
  • Balance editorial storytelling with clear calls to action that drive engagement and bookings
  • Capture and produce photo and video content across properties, often in real time
  • Edit short-form video (Reels, TikTok) and still imagery with a strong understanding of platform best practices
  • Design simple, elevated graphics for social, stories, and promotional moments
  • Ensure all content aligns with brand standards while feeling fresh and current
  • Assist in executing influencer stays, brand partnerships, and on-property activations
  • Capture content during events and experiences to support real-time storytelling
  • Help coordinate content needs, shot lists, and deliverables
  • Pull and analyze weekly and monthly social media performance reports
  • Monitor key metrics including engagement, reach, growth, and conversion signals
  • Share insights and recommendations to inform ongoing content strategy
  • Organize and maintain digital asset libraries across properties
  • Ensure content is properly tagged, stored, and easily accessible for cross-team use
  • Support ongoing content shoots and production logistics as needed

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • A strong copywriter with the ability to write in a clear, elevated, and brand-aligned voice
  • A hands-on content creator with strong photo, video, and editing skills
  • Fluent in social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube. Substack) and what performs on each
  • Experienced in shooting and editing content natively (iPhone + Adobe Suite, CapCut, etc.)
  • A strong visual eye with a clear understanding of brand alignment, composition, and tone
  • Detail-oriented and organized, able to manage multiple accounts and deadlines
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, on-property environment with real-time content needs
  • Data-aware, with the ability to pull insights and translate performance into action
  • Collaborative, positive, and eager to grow within a creative and strategic team
  • Passionate about hospitality, travel, and lifestyle storytelling
     

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field.
  • Social Media experience 5+ years in hospitality or lifestyle market.
  • Expertise in content creation, graphic design and social media management.
