A bit about the role:
We're looking for a skilled Social Community Manager to join our team and manage our brand's social media presence across Reddit and other text-based platforms. This role combines community management and creative writing to inform and engage online communities. This fully remote role offers a chance to support the first social AI platform creating vivid, lifelike characters to share immersive, interactive stories with friends all on one app. If you're passionate about nurturing vibrant online communities, fluent in Reddit’s unique ecosystem, and enthusiastic about the latest trends in AI and tech, we want you! Candidates must be experienced in growing online communities on Reddit.
This remote, contract role offers 20-40 hours per week at $30/hour. You’ll need to provide your own devices (cell phone and laptop).
A bit about the work:
Own and strategically grow our Reddit and Twitter community through engaging content, active moderation, and proactive user interactions.
Develop and implement growth tactics designed to convert Reddit + Twitter engagement into direct onboards.
Post regular content across Twitter and Reddit, aligning with the platform’s tone
Track and report on engagement experiments, wins, and learnings
Stay ahead of emerging AI trends and information related to AI.
A bit about you:
2+ years of experience managing Reddit and other online communities, with demonstrable success in community growth and engagement.
Experience running community-led or viral campaigns on Reddit and Twitter
Deep understanding of Reddit’s nuances, subcultures, moderation practices, and community management best practices.
Strong passion for AI and emerging technologies; familiarity with AI platforms and tools such as Character AI or Stable Diffusion is highly desirable.
Excellent written communication skills with a proven ability to engage diverse communities.
Experience creating written content (e.g., tweets, forums)
Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and adapt quickly to dynamic environments.
Bonus: active participant or moderator in popular AI or tech-related subreddit communities.
