Description:
A Services Specialist is needed to help implement enterprise wide services.
The Services specialist will work with the SOA Service Discipline team to implement enterprise wide service in support of projects and application development. The candidate will perform the following tasks:
- Coordinate the efforts of the Service Discipline team.
- Develop and operationalize Release Management for Service Discipline assets.
- Develop Service Level Agreement metrics and goals for the Service Discipline.
- Participate in process flow analysis and SOA centric process redesign along with the project team discovering, validating, documenting and communicating the organization's services requirements.
- Identify issues and risks found in the mapping of existing and proposed services to an enterprise services methodology.
- Provide operational production procedures, plans, and training support
- Create and Lead training sessions and classes for knowledge sharing.
- Help plan and coordinate UAT and performance testing.
- Help create and author plans, policies, procedures, and governance for enterprise wide services.
- Communicate to stakeholder of any changes and upgrades.
- Seek approval of any proposed variation to existing services architecture with the Enterprise Architecture and Infrastructure teams.
Skills Required:
Experience working in a mature Service Oriented Architecture environment.
Web service design and development experience using BizTalk.
Experience with data management/ETL tools (such as MS-SQL SSIS, Informatica or others)
Experience tracking SOA service assets through the release cycle
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a diversified workload
Strong problem solving, troubleshooting skills including ability to perform root cause analysis for preventative analysis
Strong verbal and written communication skills
