Brief about Business
You will part of End User Computing group.
End User Computing (EUC) designs, delivers and supports technology products at the core of the workplace environment which directly impacts user experience and enable productivity and collaboration.
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect to lead the analysis and modernization of our SMTP/email architecture. This role will focus on designing a secure, scalable, and compliant messaging infrastructure that aligns with enterprise standards and supports hybrid cloud integration. The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise in SMTP/email systems with strong leadership qualities—able to influence cross-functional teams, communicate effectively at all levels, and drive strategic modernization initiatives while maintaining compliance and security standards.
Your key responsibilities
Architectural Assessment and Solution Design • Analyze and document “As-Is” architecture and identify gaps in security, scalability, and compliance. • Develop “To-Be” architecture for SMTP/email systems, ensure alignment with enterprise security policies, regulatory requirements and cloud strategy. • Design controls for data protection, encryption, and audit readiness. • Collaborate with internal governance frameworks, Network security, cloud, compliance and vendor teams to propose new architecture. • Present architecture recommendations to senior leadership and project steering committees. • Provide technical guidance to engineering teams during implementation.
Your skills and experience
• Deep knowledge of SMTP protocol and RFC standards. • Experience with Exchange Online and hybrid deployments. • Strong understanding of DNS/MX records, SPF/DKIM/DMARC configuration. • Familiarity with secure email gateways (Proofpoint or equivalent). • Knowledge of TLS/SSL enforcement and email encryption • Ability to create high-level and detailed architecture diagrams. • Experience in designing scalable, fault-tolerant messaging systems. • Understanding of SOx, GDPR, and enterprise security frameworks. • Experience with ITIL processes and ServiceNow CMDB • Preferred Certifications: Microsoft Certified: Messaging Administrator Associate, Microsoft Certified: Solutions Architect Expert, TOGAF 9 or ArchiMate, ITIL Foundation or Intermediate, Proofpoint Certified Specialist
