About This Role
Join JLL's JBS team as a Global Mobility Advisor- Operations, where you'll play a critical role in supporting our global workforce through comprehensive immigration and relocation services. This position offers the opportunity to work with diverse stakeholders across multiple regions while managing complex operational processes that enable seamless global talent movement.
You'll serve as a trusted first point of contact advisor for immigration policy questions, manage end-to-end case processing for global transfers and assignments, and ensure exceptional service delivery through technology platform management and stakeholder collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
Immigration & Policy Operations
Provide expert guidance on global JLL immigration policies, country specific visa and work permit applications, and permissible activities for new hires current employees. Handle emergency immigration support operations with urgency while ensuring compliance with local regulations and JLL policies.
Case Management & Processing
Drive comprehensive end-to-end casmanagement for JLL new hire and global transfers and immigration matters. Generate assignment and transfer letters, coordinate contract requests from local markets, and manage the complete lifecycle from initiation through completion answering questions along the way Process extension requests and coordinate repatriation or localization decisions with business stakeholders.
Systems & Technology Management
Manage immigration and mobility platform administration including system access, security roles, and data integrity of both internal and external systems. Initiate and maintain accurate profiles across multiple systems including Workday, team .xls trackers, and external platforms to ensure seamless information flow and reporting accuracy. Support the integration of data and documentation onto WorkDay platform and ensuring system of record is current and accurate, and govern the audit calendar ensuring governance steps are on track.
Financial & Vendor Coordination
Review and process invoices from tax providers, relocation management companies, and immigration vendors. Generate cost projections, coordinate housing allowance payments through payroll, and manage vendor relationships to optimize service delivery and cost efficiency.
Stakeholder Engagement & Reporting
Serve as primary point of contact for global transfer questions from employees and business stakeholders. Conduct proactive outreach to business units and HR teams regarding assignment timelines and decisions. Provide regular immigration reporting to stakeholders and collect feedback to continuously improve service delivery.
Exception Management & Compliance
Execute Tier 1 exception review and approval processes for global immigration matters. Document exceptions comprehensively for both global immigration and global mobility cases while ensuring audit readiness and regulatory compliance. In addition, track defects and opportunities in a central repository.
What We're Looking For
Essential Experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in immigration, human resources, or related field desirable
3-5 years of experience in global mobility, immigration, and international HR operations
Solid understanding of global immigration regulations and corporate mobility practices and the impact this has on employee experience
Experience with HRIS systems, preferably Workday
Proven track record with invoice processing
Technical & Analytical Skills
Proficiency in mobility and immigration technology platforms
Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting
Strong attention to detail with ability to manage multiple complex cases simultaneously
Experience with policy interpretation and exception management processes
Communication & Relationship Building
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to explain complex immigration matters clearly
Strong relationship-building capabilities with internal and external stakeholders
Cultural sensitivity and ability to work effectively across different time zones and regions
Customer service orientation with focus on employee experience
