As part of our continued growth, we are seeking experienced subject matter experts and contractors to support client engagements across the life sciences sector. This role will provide specialized expertise, strategic guidance, and hands-on support for projects involving pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, patient services, market access, commercialization, and operational improvement initiatives.

Duties and ResponsibilitiesSubject Matter Expertise
  • Provide specialized knowledge and practical insights in areas such as patient services, market access, reimbursement, commercialization, healthcare operations, compliance, or related life sciences disciplines.

  • Apply industry expertise to assess client needs, identify opportunities, and develop actionable recommendations.

  • Stay informed about emerging trends, policy changes, regulatory developments, and best practices affecting life sciences organizations.

Client Engagement
  • Collaborate with Acumetis teams and client stakeholders to understand business objectives, operational challenges, and project requirements.

  • Participate in client meetings, interviews, workshops, working sessions, and executive presentations as needed.

  • Build trusted relationships through effective communication, responsiveness, and high-quality delivery.

Project Delivery
  • Support the planning and execution of consulting engagements, workstreams, assessments, and implementation initiatives.

  • Develop clear, accurate, and practical deliverables, including analyses, reports, presentations, process documentation, recommendations, and implementation plans.

  • Complete assigned work independently and within agreed timelines, scope, quality standards, and budget requirements.

  • Identify project risks, dependencies, and issues and communicate them promptly to project leadership.

Analysis and Recommendations
  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative research, data analysis, benchmarking, process assessments, and market or operational evaluations.

  • Translate complex findings into concise insights and recommendations that support informed client decision-making.

  • Help clients design scalable, compliant, and patient-centric solutions aligned with business and operational goals.

Collaboration and Knowledge Sharing
  • Work effectively with cross-functional consulting teams, client stakeholders, external partners, and other subject matter experts.

  • Share relevant expertise, tools, methodologies, and industry perspectives with Acumetis team members.

  • Contribute to a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performing project environment.

Quality and Compliance
  • Ensure work products and recommendations reflect applicable healthcare, life sciences, privacy, regulatory, and compliance requirements.

  • Protect confidential client, patient, business, and proprietary information in accordance with Acumetis policies and applicable agreements.

  • Maintain accurate documentation and follow project governance, quality assurance, and communication processes.

Business Development and Thought Leadership
  • Support proposal development, capability presentations, client discussions, and business development activities when requested.

  • Contribute to industry content, insights, presentations, workshops, or other thought leadership initiatives.

  • Help identify opportunities to expand client relationships and enhance Acumetis' life sciences consulting capabilities.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree or relevant professional certification preferred.

  • Demonstrated experience in life sciences, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, consulting, market access, patient services, commercialization, or a related field.

  • Subject matter expertise relevant to the specific client engagement or project assignment.

  • Experience delivering consulting projects, strategic initiatives, operational improvements, or specialized advisory services.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, project management, and organizational skills.

  • Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and meet deadlines in a consulting or project-based environment.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, client stakeholders, and executive audiences.

  • Working knowledge of applicable healthcare, life sciences, privacy, regulatory, and compliance requirements.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office or comparable productivity and collaboration tools.
