What are we looking for?
We are looking for a talented SleepTales Writer to create calming bedtime stories designed to help our users unwind and fall asleep. The ideal candidate should have a passion for storytelling, an exceptional ability to craft soothing narratives, and an understanding of how to use language to relax the mind and body.
Responsibilities
- Write original SleepTales, ranging between 3000 and 5000 words, designed to promote relaxation and sleep.
- Develop imaginative, slow-paced narratives with descriptive, calming language.
- Collaborate with the content team to align stories with thematic or seasonal campaigns.
- Revise and refine drafts based on feedback to meet tone and style guidelines.
- Research techniques and themes to ensure stories effectively aid relaxation and sleep.
- Studies in creative writing, English, or a related field (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
- Professional experience in writing fiction or storytelling (portfolio or samples required).
- Strong grasp of grammar, spelling, and English communication.
- Ability to craft engaging yet relaxing stories with vivid descriptions and a slow pace.
- Flexibility to adapt to our brand voice and style.
- Experience in mindfulness, sleep, or relaxation content is a plus.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
$0.13 per word, based on experience, expertise, and the scope of the project.
