Job Summary

This SkillBridge Internship is an opportunity for transitioning service members to gain hands-on experience within the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team at Black Rifle Coffee Company. The FP&A team provides critical financial insights and support across all business functions and channels. The intern will assist with daily reporting, reconciliations, variance analysis, and strategic finance projects while developing a well-rounded understanding of corporate finance in a dynamic, mission-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in creating, updating, and maintaining daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports and operational trackers.

• Prepare and support month-end general ledger account reconciliations.

• Help compile financial data for budgeting, forecasting, and performance variance analysis.

• Support the FP&A team in cross-functional financial projects and process improvement initiatives.

• Respond to ad hoc analysis requests and assist in other duties as assigned.

Skills & Qualifications

• Must be transitioning service member out of the US Military and be eligible for the SkillBridge program to be considered. All other applicants will be denied.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups, formulas).

• Strong attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset.

• Basic understanding of financial statements and accounting principles.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Eagerness to learn and work in a collaborative team environment.

Preferred Experience

• Coursework or degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.

• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite) or financial reporting tools is a plus but not required.

• Military experience in finance, supply/logistics, or administrative roles is valued but not mandatory.
