Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Site Security Manager to join our team! In this role you will author, directly manage and enforce a Security Plan for a new state of the art C2F facility construction located on Redstone Arsenal, Huntsville Alabama.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Author a site security plan that denies US adversary's the ability to have access, pilfer and conduct espionage during the construction of a secure facility IAW ICD 705 and the UFC.
- Maintain cross functional communication with local Provost Marshall office, SSO and Army CID.
- Manage and enforce Physical Security measures at the site.
- Direct Access Control measures associated with the construction site.
- Provide daily activity log to the SSO and Construction manager.
- Responsible of the inspection of materials being brought into the site.
- Lead 8 members identified as Construction Surveillance Team.
- Schedule - Availability for after-hour and weekend work is required.
- Integrate and work with multiple subcontractors by providing Company direction on actions within Primary Contract, PWS and SOW.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
- Bachelors and at least 8 years’ experience or at least 12 years of related experience in lieu of a degree
- TS/SCI
- Prior experience developing and implanting physical and access control security measures.
- Experience with leading a team of security experts.
- Regulatory Knowledge - Working knowledge of, or the ability to rapidly assimilate information related to State, and Federal regulations, legislation, guidelines, policies and procedures. Ability to understand and follow governmental rules and regulations. (examples ICD 705, UFC)
- Analytical/Procedural Skills - Must be analytical, detail-oriented, and able to analyze problems, identify causative factors, and apply actions to effectively resolve current issues and prevent recurrence of problem conditions effecting security measures involving OPSEC and INFOSEC.
- Decision Making/Problem Solving and Judgement - Must demonstrate an ability to accurately identify issues and problems and determine optimal courses of action and outcomes.
- Organizational Skills - Must be organized, flexible, and able to prioritize in a multi-demand and constantly changing environment without sacrificing accuracy or timeliness.
- Interpersonal Skills - Must exercise excellent interpersonal skills - position continually requires demonstrated poise, tact, diplomacy, and an ability to establish and maintain effective working/professional relationships with internal and external customers.
- Safety - Must be able to always work in a safe manner, avoiding shortcuts that have potential adverse results/risks, and must be able to comply with safety standards and best practices.
- Computer Systems / Hardware / Software - Must possess appropriate levels of proficiency with utilized software and computer systems (Microsoft Office) and be able to learn new software/systems.
- Confidentiality - Must be able to handle sensitive and confidential information and situations and adhere to applicable laws/statutes/policies related to access, maintenance and dissemination of information.
- Must have a valid Driver's License compliant with the Real ID act.
