About the Role
This individual will have strong SRE with cloud technical experience and provide technical guidance with demonstrated enterprise application support acumen and excellent automation skills and a strong agile mindset.
The position is required to respond to and resolve reported incidents. Perform root cause analysis and troubleshooting.
What You Will Do
Act as the Subject Matter Expert for connected vehicle products, working closely with the product developers, building the knowledge in support, troubleshooting tools and methods.
Acts as a technical liaison between clients, service engineering teams, and support
Be the technical focal point of customer issues raised by the customer and internal 2nd level.
Identify and Lead automation opportunity in line with organization expectations
Drive the P0/P1 triage bridge to resolve the incidents within SLA
Own and work on assigned cases and responsible to resolve issues raised within SLAs.
Participate in customer workshops and provide presentations of the proposed solution
Analyze recurring issues and put processes and requirements for tools to better support the customer.
Mentor and educate 2nd tier personnel in order to reduce the number of technical escalations.
Create technical documentation and procedures
This position requires stretch hours if a P0/P1 incident is in progress and on-call duty 24/7 .
What You Need to Be Successful
Good knowledge on logging systems (Graylog, Kibana, Splunk, etc )
Networking knowledge around VPN, CIDR, subnets, certificates, Security Groups
Experience working collaboratively with Engineering, SysOps, DevOps, and Administrators.
What Makes You Eligible :
Candidate should be a B.Tech/B.E/M.Tech in E&C or Computer Science
Possess 7 to 10 years of enterprise infrastructure technology background
Good working knowledge of Automotive Industry IoT solutions based on AWS & Azure
Good working knowledge of orchestration tools (Kubernetes)
Good working knowledge of container-based environment (Docker Containers)
Good working knowledge of Linux flavors
Good working knowledge on scripting skills (Python, Shell)
Good working knowledge on Automation tools such as Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Terraform / terragrunt IaC
Good knowledge of HiveMQ, Kafka and MQTT protocols
Awareness of MongoDB and elastic search
Scoping and trends analysis via MongoDB, RDS, PostgreSQL
Good working Knowledge on monitoring tools (Datadog, Nagios, Zabbix, Grafana, Prometheus)
