Madrid Office - Hybrid: 4 days in the office, 1 day working from home

We are looking for an experienced Site Reliability Engineering Team Lead to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing leadership for one of our platform engineering  teams. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that our platform meets the needs of our customers and business objectives.

What you will do:

  • Lead a team of SREs and collaborate with other teams to ensure high availability and reliability of our systems.
  • Define and implement best practices for monitoring, incident management, and troubleshooting of infrastructure and applications.
  • Design and implement automation tools and processes to improve efficiency and reduce downtime.
  • Work closely with development teams to ensure that their applications are designed for scalability and reliability.
  • Participate in the design and implementation of new systems and services to ensure they meet our reliability and scalability requirements.
  • Manage the team's performance, develop career paths, and provide coaching and mentoring to team members.
  • Keep up-to-date with emerging technologies, tools, and practices related to SRE and infrastructure.

What we expect from you:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of experience in SRE or related fields.
  • 2+ years of experience in managing teams.
  • Strong knowledge of Linux systems, cloud infrastructure, networking, and databases.
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing highly available and scalable applications.
  • Hands-on experience with automation tools and scripting languages (e.g. Python, Bash, Ansible, Terraform).
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience with security and compliance requirements (e.g., HIPAA, SOC 2, GDPR, DORA) is a plus.
