At this stage of growing, we are looking for a Site Reliability Engineer.
Responsibilities
- Deploy, configure, and administer Linux based servers;
- Troubleshooting hardware and network availability issues and accounting for failures;
- Maintaining many nodes across different remote on-site locations and cloud environments;
- Participating in infrastructure automation using Python and/or Go;
- Working on cloud infrastructure in AWS, Gcloud, Alicloud;
- Improvement of monitoring for production trading systems using Grafana;
Requirements
- Experience working with and troubleshooting highly loaded systems for at least 3 years;
- Very good understanding of Linux TCP/IP stack;
- Knowledge of basic network components such as DHCP, DNS, BGP, etc.;
- Experience with at least one of various configuration management systems (Salt, Ansible, Etc.);
- Deep knowledge of common infrastructure monitoring components: Prometheus, Grafana, Etc.;
- Excellent English skills (B2/Upper-Intermediate level or above);
- Basic Python/Bash/Go skills;
- Availability for work trips.
Would be great if you had this
- Knowledge of major server hardware lines from leading vendors;
- Experience tweaking hardware and OS stack for maximum performance (example - building custom linux kernels, etc.).
