Job Description:
As the SRE Performance Engineer part of SRE team, you will mentor Performance methodology of a high-performing SRE team to assure 99.9% availability of OA Product Line products. You will provide hands-on expertise, in day-to-day performance testing including monitoring, reporting, incident response, training other SRE engineers of day-to-day performance testing operations.
Responsibilities:
- Validate and track Kubernetes, and Amazon Cloud infrastructure.
- Design, implement, and optimize functional, UI, and performance test automation using Python, Robot Framework, Jest (NodeJS) and Locust
- Manage test plans in TestRail
- Design, implement and optimize CI/CD solutions in Gitlab integrating Infrastructure-As-Code, Software Development, and Testing Pipelines
- Optimize Kubernetes and Cloud Native Observability solutions based on Prometheus, BigPanda, ServiceNow, Grafana, Kibana, ElasticSearch, and Jaeger.
- Design and manage platform tuning scenarios and recommend platform and its services configurations which are cost-efficient as well as suitable to a particular implementation using Observability tooling (above) and an understanding of Kubernetes performance tuning.
- Develop and extend container-based solutions using Docker and Helm
- Deploy, understand, and validate content in Kubernetes and AWS using tools like AWS CLI
- Collaborate with team members in an Agile methodology using Jira and Confluence
- Collaborate effectively with a distributed team in the United States, Poland, Bangladesh, India, China, and UK in English.
Qualification:
- Bachelor's Degree or any relevant graduation
- Knowledge on Kubernetes
- Knowledge on CI/CD solutions or DevOps concept
- Quick Learner
- Good communication skill
- Certification in Kubernetes/ DevOps /Cloud
